A lot of times, the reason family calls the cops is that either (1) they're selfish or (2) they don't want you to die on their watch.

I guess we can always fall back on, "I'm old enough to choose for myself what I want to do." Or, "I have no further contributions to make."

many great men from the past took their lives instead of falling in the hands of their enemies
history remembers them, history forgot the little pussies who died in a hospital bed

Everyone is selfish. If your family wants to keep you around it's for their own selfish reasons.
Suicide shaming is so inconsiderate of the suicidal person's suffering.
